Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations while maintaining strong customer relationships. Job Responsibilities
- Conduct pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilize modern techniques, technology, and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
- Responsibilities and schedules may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required; training may be provided for less experienced candidates.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements are mandatory.
- Stable work record and strong work ethic are essential.
- Safe driving records, including MVR and previous employer checks, are compulsory.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
