Job Description
We are currently hiring a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Honolulu, HI. As a City Driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for safe and timely pickup and delivery of cargo. Our drivers play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, utilizing the latest technology to perform their duties efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, mainly near the consolidation/distribution center.
- Conduct loading and unloading of trailers using standard techniques and technology.
- Tasks and schedules may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required; training may be provided for those with less experience.
- Must possess a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Clean driving records and ability to meet DOT medical requirements.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening.
