Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Oncology Account Manager for the Lehigh Valley region. As the Oncology Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting Jazz Pharmaceuticals' oncology products, developing and managing business relationships with specialists, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve objectives.
Responsibilities
- Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Adult Oncology products to healthcare providers within the designated area.
- Educate physicians about the company's products and approved indications.
- Achieve sales forecasts and targets.
- Organize meetings for medical and product information exchange.
- Analyze territory prescribing trends and adapt business plans accordingly.
- Establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Support company sales strategy and maintain ethical marketing practices.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Oncology sales experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Post-graduate business school study is a plus.
Preferred Experience
- 5 years pharmaceutical specialty sales experience or 3 years oncology sales experience.
- Hematology and/or solid tumor sales experience.
- Preference for AML or Lung Cancer experience.
- Community Oncology practice knowledge is advantageous.
Physical Demands
- Frequent travel and use of office equipment.
Work Environment
- Frequent external interactions with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
- Occasional non-traditional work hours may be necessary.
- Appropriate business attire required for public contact.
