Job Description
We are hiring an ambitious Oncology Account Manager to join our team in Toledo. Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company, is dedicated to developing groundbreaking medicines for patients with serious diseases, focusing on neuroscience and oncology. As an Oncology Account Manager, you will play a vital role in promoting our oncology products, building relationships with healthcare specialists, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Adult Oncology products to healthcare providers in the designated area.
- Educate physicians about our products and their approved indications.
- Achieve sales targets and forecasts.
- Organize medical information exchange meetings and represent the company at events and trade shows.
- Develop strong relationships with key healthcare professionals.
- Comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior sales experience in Oncology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of oncology products and disease states.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to excel in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Post-graduate business school study or training.
- 5 years of pharmaceutical specialty sales experience or 3 years of Oncology sales experience.
- Experience with AML or Lung Cancer highly preferred.
- Community Oncology practice knowledge is a plus.
