Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor I to join our team in Denver, CO at ABF Freight, a trusted LTL carrier and an ArcBest company. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling the resources involved in the loading and unloading of freight to ensure timely and safe transport.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control the loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training to workers.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Promote safe handling, loading, unloading, and storage of materials.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on excellence and collaboration.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; prior supervisory experience a plus.
• Experience in transportation and knowledge of freight handling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of freight operations and regulations.
