We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Cashiers and Stockers at Aldi. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service. Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean shopping area
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with shopping needs
- Report product issues to management and participate in inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves with fresh products and maintain displays
- Follow merchandising guidelines for attractive product presentation
- Operate machinery safely and organize inventory
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Effective time management and knowledge of retail products
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
