Job Description

We are seeking a day shift, full-time Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our Medical Surgical team at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will assist in providing exceptional patient care and support to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning, ambulating, and providing personal hygiene care.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with nurses and staff to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to professional standards, follow protocols, and contribute to a compassionate and respectful healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Competency in multiple areas of practice preferred.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience in acute or long-term care, and completion of CNA, PCT, or EMT-P certification.
