Patient Care Tech / PCT Orthopedic

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Orthopedic Unit at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This full-time evening shift role involves working under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to assist patients with daily activities and provide basic patient care services.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Observe and record patients' progress and vital signs.
• Collect specimens for lab tests and perform basic patient transport duties.
• Record patients' intake and output, help with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: Two years of experience in acute or long-term care, CNA/PCT/paramedic certification, or nursing school enrollment.
