Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the lives of patients through innovative medicines. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts, ensuring market access for Jazz's portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, cultivate key relationships, and drive market access strategies to support the company's goals. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Execute market access strategies for Medicaid accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with key individuals in targeted payers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive market access.
• Negotiate rebate agreements with payers according to strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience.
• Experience in managing Medicaid accounts.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of healthcare and reimbursement issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required, MBA/JD/PharmD preferred.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy and rare disease drugs preferred.
• Clinical knowledge in specific therapeutic areas preferred.
