Private Duty Nurse LPN - Aveanna Healthcare

Aveanna Healthcare, one of the nation's largest homecare providers, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following care plans and physicians' orders while upholding professional standards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Observe and assess patient condition, report changes, and document care activities.
  • Participate in care planning, take appropriate nursing actions, and ensure patient safety.
  • Adhere to Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
  • Educate patients and families on self-care, disease management, and prevention.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current state LPN license and CPR certification.
  • Clinical proficiency, with at least six months of recent clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English, travel, lift 50 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Visual, hearing, smell, and touch acuity required, along with emergency response readiness.

Environment

Must function in diverse environments, potentially exposed to allergens, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
