Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Nurse (LPN) to join Aveanna Healthcare, one of the nation's largest homecare providers specializing in pediatrics. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients, adhering to care plans and physicians' orders while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Assess patient condition, report changes, and update care plan accordingly.
  • Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions promptly.
  • Implement care to prevent or reduce risks based on patient needs.
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

  • Six (6) months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.
  • Home health experience.
