Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
  • Observe and assess patient condition, report changes to the supervisor or physician.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, and care coordination promptly.
  • Participate in developing and updating nursing care plans.
  • Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments and achieve expected outcomes.
  • Recognize and address changes in patient needs to prevent risks.
  • Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and nursing standards.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management and care strategies.
  • Maintain nursing competencies through ongoing education and skill evaluations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
  • Additional state-specific requirements may apply.

Preferences

  • Six months of recent clinical nursing experience.
  • Home health care experience.
