Job Description
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will provide and document skilled nursing care for patients of all ages, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires the ability to deliver quality patient care, maintain professional standards, and adhere to confidentiality protocols at all times.
Essential Job Functions
- Delivery and coordination of patient care in accordance with physician orders.
- Continuous observation and assessment of patient condition, reporting changes as needed.
- Documentation of all activities and care provided in a timely manner.
- Participation in developing and updating care plans.
- Implementation of nursing actions based on assessment and desired outcomes.
- Education of patients and families on disease processes and self-care strategies.
- Maintenance of infection control measures following OSHA standards.
- Continued education and skill development to uphold nursing competencies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current state license as a Licensed Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
Preferences
- Six months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.
- Home health experience.
