Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Private Duty Nurse RNs to join Aveanna Healthcare's team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide compassionate one-to-one care to patients, allowing them to stay comfortably at home with their loved ones. With flexible scheduling options including Over-Time, Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per-diem, you will have the opportunity to create a schedule that works best for you. Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient condition, assess needs, and report any changes to supervisors or physicians.
• Document all nursing activities, assessments, and care provided accurately and promptly.
• Participate in developing and updating nursing care plans.
• Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments and achieve desired outcomes.
• Identify and address changes in patient needs promptly to prevent risks.
• Ensure compliance with Aveanna policies, regulations, and standards of nursing practice.
• Provide patient and family education on health management and self-care practices.
• Maintain competency by engaging in educational programs and skill evaluations.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience, recent graduates welcome with our New Grad Program.
• Active and in good standing Nursing License.
• Current CPR Certification (Hands-on BLS).
