Job Description
We are looking for dedicated Private Duty Nurse RNs to join Aveanna Healthcare's team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide compassionate one-to-one care to patients, allowing them to stay comfortably at home with their loved ones. Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
- Monitor patient condition, assess needs, and report any changes to supervisors or physicians.
- Document all nursing activities, assessments, and care provided accurately and promptly.
- Participate in developing and updating nursing care plans.
- Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments and achieve desired outcomes.
- Identify and address changes in patient needs promptly to prevent risks.
- Ensure compliance with Aveanna policies, regulations, and standards of nursing practice.
- Provide patient and family education on health management and self-care practices.
- Maintain competency by engaging in educational programs and skill evaluations.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of nursing experience, recent graduates welcome with our New Grad Program.
- Active and in good standing Nursing License.
- Current CPR Certification (Hands-on BLS).
