Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Nurse RN to join Aveanna Healthcare in Wexford and surrounding areas. You will have the opportunity to work first, second, or third shifts, with flexible options for full-time, part-time, or overtime hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient condition, report changes to supervisors or physicians, and document all care activities promptly.
• Implement and update nursing care plans, taking necessary actions based on assessments.
• Provide patient education on disease management, self-care, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain infection control measures as per OSHA standards.
• Stay updated on nursing competencies through educational programs and skill evaluations.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience (recent graduates welcome with New Grad Program).
• Active Nursing License and current CPR Certification (BLS).
