Registered Nurse

Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver skilled nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes in and around the Aurora area. As an RN, you will be responsible for executing physician-prescribed care plans, administering treatments, and providing patient assessments and education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
• Assess patient condition, report changes to supervisors or physicians, and document care activities.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs.
• Comply with Aveanna policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

• Recent clinical care experience and home health experience.

Skills/Abilities

Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, organization, and communication.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, walk, stand, bend, kneel, and travel.
• Visual, hearing, and tactile acuity.
• Emergency response capability.

Environment

Adaptability to different environments and possible exposure risks.
