Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Family Medicine Center team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for triage intake, patient processing, education, managing telephone calls, reviewing lab/test results, and ensuring proper follow-up of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform triage intake and patient processing.
- Educate patients on health-related issues.
- Manage telephone calls and review lab/test results.
- Ensure follow-up care is in place for patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
- Prior ambulatory clinic experience preferred.
- Ability to meet physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
- AHA-BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Prior triage experience is necessary.
The ideal candidate will have training in addressing the special needs of patients based on their age groups.
