Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join Baird 4, one of our General Medicine Units at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Baird 4 specializes in caring for patients with acute and chronic multi-system health needs, including respiratory diseases, renal and dialysis patients, diabetes, wound care, and more. As a Registered Nurse on Baird 4, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care following established nursing standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
