Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our General Surgery team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care both in the office setting and over the phone. Your role will involve attending to patients' nursing needs, following established policies and procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Unit Description
The Registered Nurse will work closely with patients, families, and coworkers to ensure a pleasant and supportive healthcare environment. Preference will be given to candidates who are Wound Care Certified or willing to become certified within 6 months of employment.
Job Requirements
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience; two years in the relevant clinical area is preferred.
- Wound Care Certification required within 6 months of employment.
Incentives
External candidates with 1 year of experience are eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $10,000 (prorated for part-time roles).
