Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Emergency Department

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis in the Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to manage patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in NYS.
• Previous experience in the Emergency Department is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and health personnel.
