Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Staff Nurse II, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, assess their needs, create care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. This role includes direct patient care, education, and discharge planning, with the possibility of taking charge when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care based on assessment and care planning.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient well-being and continuity of care.
• Participate in patient education and preparation for post-discharge care.
• Possibility of taking charge based on operational requirements.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 300 hours per year, including one holiday shift.
• Completion of orientation program (full-time preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
