Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare, the largest pediatric home health care company in the U.S., is looking for compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide skilled nursing care to patients at home. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for one-to-one patient care, administering prescribed medication and treatments, patient assessments, and health promotion. Responsibilities

  • Provide and document skilled nursing care according to care plans and physician's orders.
  • Observe and assess patient conditions, report changes, and coordinate care.
  • Develop, update, and implement nursing care plans.
  • Ensure infection control measures and educate patients and families on self-care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current state RN license and CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
  • Continuing education as required by state regulations.

Preferences

  • Recent clinical care experience, especially in home health.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Travel may be required; ability to lift, walk, stand, and perform other physical tasks.
