Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Associate to join ALDI, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies on a consistent basis.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and uphold store cleanliness standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
