Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc (NASDAQ: JAZZ) is looking for a Specialty Sales Consultant to join the team in Kansas City East. The role involves direct promotion of Jazz Pharmaceuticals' neuroscience products and building relationships with specialists in the designated territory. The position is within The Sleep Business Unit, reporting to a Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Educate healthcare professionals about Jazz Pharmaceuticals products, ensuring up-to-date information dissemination.
  • Achieve sales goals and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings for medical information exchange in compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze the business in the territory and understand prescribing processes.
  • Utilize resources to educate and influence healthcare professionals on products.
  • Assist healthcare offices in navigating prescription processes.
  • Develop and execute business and territory plans with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Present a positive image of Jazz Pharmaceuticals and adhere to ethical marketing practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Preferred 2 years of specialist sales experience.
  • Current relationships within the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Experience in the central nervous system therapeutic sales field preferred.
  • Knowledge of payer landscape desirable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in a team.
