staff - Registered Nurse (RN) - Stroke - $32-52 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Stroke care to join our team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As part of our Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurses team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, focusing on providing holistic patient care and ensuring the best patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
• Anticipate and respond to changes in the patient's condition, collaborating with the healthcare team for patient-centered care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and apply evidence-based practice to deliver safe and therapeutic care.
• Promote a culture of safety, effective communication, and collaboration among healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of an accredited Nursing program and minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated skills in patient care, critical decision-making, communication, and teamwork.
• Ability to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
