Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Clean patient care equipment and ensure accurate documentation of the sterilization process.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and report abnormalities to leadership.
• Precept new staff or cross-train OR staff in Sterile Processing under the department Educator's guidance.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Hold a CRCST or CSPDT or CST certificate.
