Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Store Operations Assistant to join ALDI's dynamic team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's smooth operation and enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock products efficiently and maintain an organized store environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Perform cashiering duties accurately and follow established cash handling procedures.
• Conduct general cleaning tasks to uphold store cleanliness standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed in this role at ALDI.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register proficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
