Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness of the store, and stock shelves
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Participate in inventory management and uphold cash policies
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
