Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies, uphold security standards, and fulfill assigned duties

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Efficient cash handling and customer service skills
• Ability to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Flexibility to work independently as well as part of a team
• Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
