Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, stocking products, cashiering, and delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Follow company policies while safeguarding data and documents

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Skilled in using equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Ability to meet state requirements for alcohol sales
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
