Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is maintained to the highest standards. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain neat displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, follow cash policies, and uphold company procedures.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and general cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
