Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold document security
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register
• Ability to use store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is an advantage
