Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store operates efficiently and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to create an optimal shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases and maintain neat displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in store inventory counts
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
  • Uphold company policies and ensure security and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Experience in retail environment preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
