Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service and teamwork. Your duties will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and report any issues to management.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company policies and ensure data security and confidentiality.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient cash register operation.
  • Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcoholic beverages handling.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
