Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a crucial part of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. By collaborating with your colleagues and providing exceptional customer service, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, ensure neat merchandise displays, and perform general cleaning duties.
• Provide excellent customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the management team.
• Participate in inventory counts, adhere to cash handling policies, and follow company procedures.
• Operate store equipment safely and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
