Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Operations Assistant and play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Conduct inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and report issues to management
  • Follow cash handling procedures and uphold company policies
  • Operate equipment safely and perform general cleaning tasks

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in customer service and cash handling
  • Able to operate equipment like a cash register, hand jack, and floor scrubber
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior retail experience preferred
