Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
