Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a pivotal member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Report feedback on products, inventory, and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to store inventory management and accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
  • Follow company procedures ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Strong customer service and cash register skills.
  • Operational knowledge of store equipment and cleaning standards.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
