Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the store operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with a top-notch shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases and maintain neat merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
  • Adhere to security and confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
  • Ability to operate store equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
