Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in the success of our store by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Type

• Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies in daily tasks
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and perform physical tasks within the store
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, stand, bend, and reach

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
