Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Starting Wage

$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and place products on shelves
• Perform various physical tasks within the store environment
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• Efficient cash register operation
• Ability to operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Work effectively both independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
