Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the team will significantly impact the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the company's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any other pertinent issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
  • Follow company policies and maintain data security.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register.
  • Safe use of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Compliance with company cleaning standards and policies.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
