Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's values and professional skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and practice confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and friendly customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of following company policies and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with alcoholic beverage handling requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
