Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a crucial part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Position Type

Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company standards
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
