Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store runs smoothly and that our customers receive top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Stock and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves
• Engage in various physical activities within the store environment
• Ability to work with or without accommodation

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow company policies
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Capable of working independently and in a team
• Meet all state and local requirements regarding alcohol sales

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
