Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandise stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a pleasant environment for our customers.

Position Details:

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and assist in stocking shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
• Adhere to company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Competent in cash register operation and equipment handling
• Proficient in following company policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills and capability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
