Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join the dynamic team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by handling merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers effectively
• Work closely with team members and communicate efficiently with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Follow company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Safely operate necessary equipment
• Execute general cleaning duties
• Good communication skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions proficiently

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
