Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Starting Wage

$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security
• Perform physical tasks including stocking shelves and general cleaning

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior retail experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Meet any state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
