Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- Age requirement: 18 years and older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail work experience is a plus, but a combination of education and relevant experience is also considered.
