Job Description - Unit Manager - RN
Genesis HealthCare, a leading healthcare services provider, is looking for a dedicated Unit Manager - RN to join our team. In this role, you will lead the nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare services while prioritizing positive clinical outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Position Highlights
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain safe nursing care coverage.
- Participate in developing strategies to achieve patient goals and reduce rehospitalizations.
- Mentor and educate nurses, work with medical professionals, and be a resource for nursing staff.
- Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with policy.
- Provide direct patient care and support unit nurses.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma with relevant experience.
- Minimum of one year in nurse leadership position.
- Current state nursing licensure and BLS/CPR certification.
